Well….DESPITE the windy…and sometimes rainy weather…I attended my FIRST ever Gasparilla Day Parade in Tampa.  For those of you who don’t know the tradition…I will relay my limited “first-timer” understanding of the genesis for this day of revelry and debauchery.  As legend has it, the area known today as Tampa, Florida was discovered by a Spanish pirate Jose Gaspar back in….well ….you know…pirate days….when everyone wore an eye-patch whether they needed it or not…and there were lots of wooden boats full of gold sailing the open seas.  (I wonder if Jose Gaspar knew Johnny Depp?)   Anyway…so the pirates sail into downtown Tampa,  take over the city, the mayor gives a key to the marauding conqueror Jose and then very ceremoniously “surrenders control” of the city to said booty-pillager.  All the while….floats and boats are EVERYWHERE…as are drunken business-men by day who on THIS day wear pirate garb, earrings and movie make-up scars and look far MORE like a pirate than Johnny Depp ever did…lol.  Bill, the insurance agent on every day of the year BUT today, staggers down Bayshore Boulevard in Tampa as the parade route stretched towards downtown.  Bill enjoys throwing the beads to the girls in the crowd…myself included…who were only TOO willing to show their wares…for a few cents worth of plastic compensation.  We are so easy aren’t we….lol?  So the arm-chair raper and pillager throws me beads…well actually…they ALL would stop dead in their tracks, quit walking and approach me, placethe beads around my neck and get a kiss for their troubles…lol.  Not a bad deal for either of us.  I will be posting some VERY sexy pics in some updates cumming real soon.  I wore the new hat and pirate shirt that my buddy Rick bought me….a tasty little sheer lace shirt with a rhinestone buccaneer on the front between the boobs… I think the boys could see my nipples through the shirt…but no one complained…lol.

So the day went on and I had a GREAT time…a few beers later and I went to a new bar …well new for me anyway….that my good friend Rick “the mad Dentist” recommended.  The place is called Mickey Quinns and it is in Indian Shores, Florida…right off the beach.  Great food, not too loud, not too smoky, but just right.  I had a KILLER burger…it was YUMMY!  If you are ever in the area you should stop in for a good time.  Overall, the weekend was great, even though there wasn’t great weather.  I am DYING to get some sun let me tell you!  I need some new beach pics for ya’ll!  I have some great ideas but the weather has NOT been cooperating…stay tuned I will be working hard at new content.

I am trying to figure out how to convert H.264 codec to a format that is readable/writable to DVD so that anyone can watch them…I had NO idea this was such a time-consuming process!  Let’s see…what have I been doing lately…uhh…TRYING to convert video and that’s about ALL!  But seriously, I am planning my trip to Tampa next month for the Nightmoves Magazine adult show and awards show…there is a “porn-star” picnic at Caliente Resort …I can’t wait to go there…like a little taste of Hedonism in America…lol.  The other night I had a “friend” over…he helped me get some yard work done that I could NOT have done without him.  He is SO SWEET…so how did I thank him you may ask?  I gave him a long and slow blow-job…and then I balled him for several hours…lol.  He didn’t complain!  I got some pics too…I’m such a BAD slut!  But I saved a TON of money…lol.

I got home at 3 am this morning….it was a long day but actually not too bad.  I was helping my friends move and we had some laughs too…all-in-all it was not a bad move at all.  I guess that had more to do with the company than the actual physical labor though..lol.  Afterwards, we had some Chinese for dinner…all took showers…although, unfortunately, not together…lol..and started watching a very WEIRD movie from Poland.  The movie was called “Mark of the Whip”  about a serial-whipper who would go around wearing a mask and “whip” girls all over their bodies (he used a whip like Indiana Jones uses).  It was a hardcore porn with a little “horror” thrown in for good measure.  I liked it…we were all laughing and coming up with different scenarios to explain the storyline.  It was fun.  The screenplay read like some “un-holy” alliance between Jason or Freddy Krueger and “Mystery Science Theater 3000″, which is an all-time favorite of mine.  If you are a horror fan…ah…. you probably won’t like it too much.  If you are a porn fan…..ah…..you STILL probably won’t like it…ha ha. 

I did learn several things about the motion picture industry in Poland while watching this movie.  First of all, lighting is not all that important to the Poles…they really like the gritty realism that only the ABSOLUTE ABSENCE of ANY artificial light can bring.  I guess it’s just too much of a nuisance to worry about toting those pesky lights around…after all you don’t need to actually SEE the actors and actresses because they can’t actually act anyway.  Secondly, I believe that there is a SEVERE shortage of grooming products in Poland as well, at least for women.  Every girl in the movie seemed to have near-pandemic-like razor bump outbreaks all over their coochies.  It wasn’t very appetizing I can tell you.  Those were some “Y’s” that I DON’T want to eat at..lol.  Thirdly, when shooting a movie in Poland…how about actually have the dialogue in Polish…don’t try to have a bunch of Eastern-block ‘hos who have never spoken a word of English deliver ALL the dialogue in ENGLISH!  Their attempt at speaking English actually sounded like Polish to me anyway.  I would rather it be subtitled…it’s porn after all…all I care about is the cock and coochie.  And lastly, when having the main protagonist in a horror movie who is supposed to be a prolific “whipper”, how about actually teaching the motherfucker to use the whip?  I dunno, it would have been more realistic to believe that this guy was an evil pervert, sent directly from hell to ravish as many women as he can by whipping them into submissive orgasms IF he wasn’t constantly smacking himself in the face with his own whip.  Just a thought.  Oh yeah…I almost forgot…how about making the evil-doer’s mask actually look BETTER and more realistic than what my neighbor’s 8 year-old kid wears every Halloween.  I didn’t even know they had CVS Drug stores in Poland.

Trees EVERYWHERE

Yesterday I did an interview with a writer from “European Maxim” magazine.  He came to speak to me about the porn biz, do I like it, what do you like about it, etc.  It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed doing it.  He also took some pics of me around my home..sorry I was clothed…lol.  His name is Frank and he is planning on writing a “coffee-table” book about porn, porn stars and their personal lives.  It sounds like an interesting project and I am looking forward to being a part of it.  It should be published sometime in mid 2010.  I will keep you all posted.

Every so often I will get into an “introspective” mood and deliberate, in my mind, such “heady” issues as the national debt, health care reform…lol, the dwindling intelligence level in America…and so on.  I could list fifty things and probably never scratch the surface.  And it is true, no matter how hard you may find it to believe that, even though I am in porn I still have a brain….lol.  Nevertheless I ruminate over things in my head, as we all do, from time to time.  But today I started thinking about the motivations of people that act in weird ways.  For example, what would possess someone to spend all this “foreplay” time with me on the phone and internet and then when faced with ACTUALLY meeting me…flake out?

Since getting into this business I have met a TON of super-cool people.  The casual observer/outsider of porn would probably assume, wrongly of course, that the adult movie business is full of seedy low-lifes, old-men perverts, and generally the “flotsum and jetsum” of the world.  It has been my experience, however, that MOST people in the business, whether they be producers, directors, photographers or talent, are really down-to-earth people with somewhat abnormally high sex-drives…lol.  Well, that’s an accurate description of me anyway.  I have worked for big companies and small, amateur and pro, and have found that there are a lot of jerks out there, but I would hazzard to guess that the percentage is no higher than in the general, non-porn, population.  What is of more importance to me is how the world has gravitated towards the impersonal ways of social interaction.  Please do not get me wrong…I LOVE to blog, I love to meet and talk to new people, I think that technologies like Twitter and Myspace are great to an extent…they enable swift exchanges of information between people scattered throughout the world.  Before the internet the only way to do that was via the telephone, and it was far more expensive to CALL your relative in another country to tell them about little Johnnie’s first grade play than it is to “tweet” them.  I applaud technologies which enable us to do “more with less” but what are we really accomplishing at the end of the day? 

I believe that the so-called “social networking” sites are actually de-sensitizing us to all things that are actually “social”.  I mean when you are “tweeting” someone on the other side of the world, OR the other side of the block, how do you know who you are really talking to?  And how do you know that it really IS a guy, or a girl, or a whatever?  And more importantly, when things become impersonal it makes it easier for people to mis-treat eachother.  At least that’s my opinion.  Think about it…..in today’s military we have soldiers sitting in a bunker somewhere in the Nevada desert, looking at a TV monitor and flying Predator drones with Playstation 3-like controls, over some huts in Afghanistan and bombing and killing people that they NEVER see.  I am not trying to get into a debate over war, politics or our military.  I am merely pointing out how technology has taken SO many personal elements out of our day-to-day lives and relegated them to the trash heap of irrelevance.  Why invest time to understand an issue when you can just “Google” it and read some other asshole’s opinion of what the issue is.  Why think for yourself when you can let someone else do your thinking for you? 

But the REAL victim in all this is our humanity…that’s right…our humanity.  When you are investing so little in “getting to know” someone then what do you care about their lives, their TRUE personalities, their likes and dislikes, etc?  And therefore, when you SAY you want to meet someone and then decide that something else is more important…who cares?  You just ditch the bitch for the football game, or the concert, or the always-popular “Contemplation of navel-lint” seminar at the local college.  It is a sad day when a bitch can’t even GIVE the pussy away…lol.  But seriously…I would love to hear what others think about this proliferation of “impersonalness” (is that actually a word?).   Please write me and tell me what you think.  I am calling on all my fans to weigh- in on social-networking.  What are the pros and cons in your minds?  I will await your replies and continue this as an ongoing series of blog articles.   Your SLUT…xoxoxo Lindsey

OK guys I’m back so I will start doing blogs every other day, two at a time, so every day is covered…does that sound good to you guys?

Well I am back from a semi-vacation and semi-work trip to Florida. Thanks to Mike South I am now fully in the “HD Generation” and I have a fully HD 3 CCD camera. I spent some time experimenting with it and am in the process of shooting a ton of new content. I really enjoyed being in Florida, it’s a nice change of pace from home but it was great to get back home.
